In 2014, over 3,000 at-risk children received mine risk education through coaching clinics, including Syrian refugees
– May 2014, 30 coaches participated in coaching / mine risk education workshops in South Lebanon.
– Of the graduates 10 were selected to implement a program in partnership with the Islamic Scout and Girl guides. Of the 10 coaches 2 are Amputee / Mine Survivors
– From July – November 2014, over 3,000 at-risk children received MRE through coaching clinics including Syrian refugees
– In November, the Lebanese Mine Action Center (run by the Lebanese Army) recommended that the SOS project is implemented nationally
