Willem Cleven is a global expert in the field of international security, human rights and fundraising for humanitarian causes. He currently serves as Senior Associate, Government Relations at the International Center for Transitional Justice (ICTJ), an international non-profit working to curb and address massive human rights violations. Prior to this role, he worked on REACH initiative’s Iraq Mission, responsible for identifying key priorities for responses to the Syrian refugee crisis for which he raised approximately $2.5M for projects in 2015, a 300% increase compared to 2014. He has also served at the Hague Center for Strategic Studies, a for-profit think tank with a focus on international security and conflict management. Mr Cleven holds a BA in International Relations from University College Utrecht & UCLA and a Master of Arts in Conflict, Security and Development from King’s College London.
